This restaurant is well off of the beaten path so they are fighting an uphill battle based on location alone. The restaurant is small but comfortable. Everything is priced very fair and the Chicken con crema was delicious. (I added extra Jalapeños and they gave me plenty!) My only complaint was service. It was a little hit or miss. BUT this could have been an off day. (Everyone has them). I'll absolutely go back. For the short hand review: Chips were hot and fresh Salsa(including tomatillo) were delicious EVERYTHING was hot and fresh Prices were well below average

The food was delicious! Our waiter was very attentive. The party next to us got a little loud so conversation was difficult at times, but no big deal!

Stopped here while in town, got seated pretty quickly, one in our party did like the food, I didn’t see anything that sounded over the top need to try so I just had chips and salsa, pretty good, decor inside was cute and they had a decent crowd.

We were greeted as soon as we walked in the door and quickly seated. Food came out fast. Tasted great! Our waiter was friendly and polite — eager to please. They have a large menu with a variety of reasonably priced Mexican dishes. Can’t wait to go back to try something new.

My husband, Doug, and I discovered this little gem over a year ago. It’s hidden behind another building at the 4-Way stop at Carolina Country Club Rd. A sign at the road with an arrow would probably be helpful to folks who aren’t familiar with the area. The owners and the staff really do care about what their customers’ dining experience is. They will attempt to make every meal meet their patrons’ expectations. The restaurant is very clean and well organized. Every lunch and dinner we had there was delicious and tasted like homemade. We didn’t do takeout. They hosted a community “Meet Santa” and received a free Photo of their children with him right before Santa had to call for his reindeer. There was still much to do at the North Pole before Christmas!!

I think the food is good, nothing different or better than the other Mexican American food in the area. It's nice to have a restaurant close by, in an area not as busy as in the center of Westgate or Hillcrest. I have eaten here many times with my wife and/or family. Food is consistently okay, not amazing or spectacular. Value for money could be improved by offering more unique foods & better meat quality. Food is overpriced by about 20% for what it is. The property owner needs to put some money into revitalizing this building. It's like he just rents it and never puts money back into it until a tenant complains or he "must" to keep it legal.
